Charcoal Art display in the Library

Students: Year 9's

These drawings were completed by the Year 9 Art classes. They are observed studies of Banksia's and they have been rendered in charcoal.

Students were required to focus on the tone (shading) to acheive a realistic sense of form.

Art display in the Library

Perth Street Artist Stormie Mills was the focus for this mixed media project.
Year 9 students looked at his images and were required to create a ceramic figurine inspired by the dark and lonely characters in Mills' works.
To accompany the clay figurines students designed a Graffiti name tag and painted it in the style of Spray Can Art.
